I am running for City Councillor in Ward 6 because I believe London is at a critical moment in its growth and future. Many residents feel unheard when it comes to concerns surrounding community safety, neighbourhood conditions, public accountability, housing pressures, and the overall direction of our city. I am stepping forward because I believe strong leadership means listening to the people, addressing problems directly, and working toward practical solutions that create real and lasting improvements for residents.

I am running because I believe London has the potential to become one of the most attractive, welcoming, and economically vibrant cities in Ontario. A cleaner, safer, and more united city will encourage tourism, attract investment, support local businesses, and create more opportunities for future growth. The Forest City should be a place where residents are proud to live and visitors are excited to experience. I want to help build a London that reflects pride, opportunity, and community spirit.

I am running because, as an immigrant myself, I understand the importance of opportunity, hard work, and community support. I have great respect for individuals and families who come to Canada with the goal of contributing positively to society, integrating into their communities, and building successful futures. I believe newcomers who uphold the laws of this country and contribute to our communities deserve support and opportunities to succeed. London’s diversity is one of its strengths, and I want to help ensure that everyone willing to work hard and contribute positively feels welcomed and valued.

I am running because, I have already dedicated decades of significant time and effort toward advocacy, community engagement, and raising awareness about important issues affecting Londoners. I have demonstrated I have demonstrated determination, leadership, and a genuine commitment to serving the public. I believe that with stronger community support, partnerships, volunteers, and financial backing, we can expand these efforts and create meaningful change that benefits Ward 6 and the city as a whole.

Ultimately, I am running for City Councillor because I care deeply about the future of London and the people who call this city home. This campaign is about more than politics, it is about action, accountability, and building a safer, stronger, and more connected community for future generations. I am prepared to work hard, listen to residents, and stand up for the interests of Ward 6. Together, we can move London forward and create a city that we can all be proud of.

I am running because I understand firsthand what it feels like to build a life in a country where you were not born. As an immigrant, I have experienced challenges, barriers, and rejection based on the colour of my skin, experiences that continue to shape my understanding of resilience, inclusion, and the importance of equal opportunity.

These experiences have strengthened my belief in the value of hard work, perseverance, and strong community support. I have tremendous respect for individuals and families who come to Canada with the goal of contributing positively to society, integrating into their communities, and building better futures for themselves and their loved ones.

I was once a newcomer myself, and to this day, I continue striving to uphold the laws, values, and responsibilities that come with living in this country. I encourage newcomers to become active contributors to our city by embracing community involvement, respecting our shared responsibilities, and working together to help strengthen London for future generations.

London’s diversity is one of our city’s greatest strengths. I want to help build a community where every person who is willing to work hard, contribute positively, and respect others feels welcomed, supported, and valued regardless of their background.

COMMITMENT

For decades, I have made personal sacrifices because I genuinely care about the wellbeing, safety, and future of my community. Long before considering public office, I dedicated my time, energy, and personal resources toward helping others, supporting community initiatives, advocating for safer neighbourhoods, and standing alongside people during difficult moments. My commitment to service has never been about recognition, it has always been about making a positive difference wherever I could.

Like many hardworking individuals, I have faced personal struggles, setbacks, and challenges throughout my journey. Yet despite those obstacles, I continued to show up for my community because I believe leadership begins with service.
There have been many moments where I placed the needs of others ahead of my own comfort, finances, and personal time because I understood the importance of being present, dependable, and willing to contribute toward something greater than myself.

As an immigrant and member of this community, I understand the value of sacrifice, perseverance, and responsibility. Building a life in a new country is never easy, and many people quietly carry burdens while still trying to contribute positively to society. My experiences have given me a deep understanding of the struggles many residents face, including financial hardship, social barriers, discrimination, and the desire to simply feel accepted and valued within the community they call home.

Over the years, I have consistently worked to promote awareness, community engagement, public safety discussions, and support for initiatives that encourage unity and accountability. Even with limited resources, I remained committed to finding ways to contribute because I believe positive change starts with individuals who are willing to step forward and take action.

These sacrifices were never made for political gain. They were made because I care deeply about London and the people who live here. I believe our city deserves leaders who understand struggle, who understand sacrifice, and who are willing to work hard for the betterment of the community, not just during election season, but every single day.

My decision to run for City Councillor is a continuation of that lifelong commitment to service. I want residents to know that my dedication to this community did not begin with this campaign, and it will not end after the election. I am prepared to continue working, listening, advocating, and making sacrifices necessary to help build a safer, stronger, and more united London for everyone.
